Irina Vladau is a multidisciplinary abstract artist based in Milan, Italy. Born in 1975 in Cluj-Napoca, a Transylvanian city in Romania, Irina’s artistic journey began early, encouraged by her grandfather, a self-taught painter. She studied at the Art School of Cluj-Napoca, later earning a degree in textile design from the University of Art and Design, where her passion for creativity grew and shaped her path as an artist.

After years spent exploring various professional paths, traveling, and raising a family, Irina reconnected with her love for painting in 2019 and fully dedicated herself to her art. Her work, inspired by nature, invites viewers into a world where abstraction meets personal introspection.

Irina’s paintings engage with the unseen and the emotional, transforming intangible elements into powerful visual expressions. Her creations are an ongoing exploration of how texture, color, and form can shape thoughts and feelings that are often hard to express. Each piece offers more than just a visual experience—it becomes an emotional journey, allowing for both personal interpretation and collective resonance.

Her process is a continuous experiment in giving form to the intangible, offering a sense of freedom and discovery for each observer. Irina’s works exist at the intersection of personal experience and universal themes, creating a space for connection and contemplation. Her work is collected internationally, resonating with collectors and art lovers around the globe.
